BDTD represent the sunshine coast noise posse w/this release: label boss Matt Earle describes them as “a bit of an enigma to me the way they hang out up there in paradise makin all this crazy noise.. blake (scissor) runs analogue ordnance.. makin modular synths and fx ...” The sound is somewhat akin to the post-Hawkwind psychedelic noise torrents of the whole CCCC/Space Machine/Hiroshi Hasegawa circuit, with UFO touchdown tones, harsh, bleary analogue noise ala Broken Flag, and a warped, rainbow electronics vibe that peaks in waves of buckled euphoric c.
