BDTD 147 RASheed
Weirdo minimal set of amplifier violence from the duo of Adam Sussmann (Emotional About The Rainbow et al) and Matt Earle (Breakdance/Craft Bandits/xNoBBQx et al): dedicated to extreme explorations of the sound of stasis, RASheed features minimal single note guitar lines with pulsing narcoleptic Krautrock bass and subtle percussive interventions, carving pointillist rock miniatures from a dilated/phantom power trio set-up. Imagine early Jandek after a cursory read of No Sound Is Innocent and a couple of bongloads of boo and you’re at least close to the appeal of this wildly enigmatic side. - c. David Keenan 2012
