BDTD 097 sun of the seventh sister
- New live recordings from Breakdance The Dawn’s in-house basement psych supergroup. This set is drawn from a legendary performance in late 2008 where a member of the audience offered to pay the group $100 to stop playing. Needless to say, it was gratefully received. The sound is more improvised and freeform than much of the BDTD catalogue, with aspects of NNCK – scatter shot percussion, strange strings – giving way to Industrial strength electronics and junkyard gamelan. This is the sound of young Australia.- c. David Keenan 2010
